The Best Frittata In The World (by Me)


5 eggs
4-5 mushrooms
8-10 pieces of salami or other meat
5 tablespoons of water
salt and pepper




  1. Cut up and mix your ingredients in a bowl. 
  2. Melt butter in a frying pan. Make sure the butter is on the sides of the pan as well.
  3. When the butter is melted, tip in your mixed ingredients. 
  4. Have your pan on high until the egg starts to cook around the edge, the turn it down to half way.
  5. Use your spatula to move the egg off the side. Repeat this several times as it cooks. When the base is very well cooked, after 5-7 minutes, you should be able to slide the spatula underneath it. 
  6. After 10 or so minutes, you will notice almost everything is cooked, apart form the very top, which will still be runny. If you are confident to flip the frittata, then go ahead and skip step 7&8
  7. If you are not going to flip the frittata, then turn on your grill to full. 
  8. Put the frypan under the grill, and keep a careful eye on it. The egg on the top should start to cook. *If you frypan had a plastic handle do not do this. Only do it with cast iron frypan*
  9. When it is cooked, either flip it out of the pan, or cut it into pieces to eat. 
~ If it takes a few times for you to get the hang of it, don't worry, I still mess it up every third or so time - it tastes just as good as a scrambled mess. 
~It is better to go easy on the salt and pepper, then sprinkle it on top to your taste. 
~Eat it with whatever sauce you like. 



Cooked!

Please remember to use all the correct tools -
The oven and frying pan will be very hot!



I came up with this recipe, and both my father and I, who are the only ones who like fried egg, love it. However, it may not be to your taste.

P.S. If you use tomato sauce, I must insist you use Watties tomato sauce. It is the only brand one should use. I'm Kiwi like that :P
