Spring in our garden...

Spring is beautiful in our garden. The garden explodes in colors, bugs and animals. I took a walk with Hunter and my camera today. We had to stop 3 or 4 times for a dust bath. Hunter had the dust baths - not me!
Spring is always busy, theres seedlings to grow, hedges to be trimmed, weeds to be pulled, and finally we can hang out washing again!  Hunter stops coming inside muddy, and Blackberry's breathing becomes much better. Even though the weather is unpredictable, mum spends most days in the garden. The biggest thing for me is I get a lot of inspiration for writing! Theres just something about spring that makes everyone extra cheerful!

I have put the captions above the pictures.

These two flowers (above and below) have amazing color!! I don't think the pictures do justice.

Hunter is just the cutest!

The smell of this flower is amazing!

Dust bath #1

The cows are behind us the moment. This cow just made me smile. Some of them are friendly and came up to the fence. You can tell Hunter was raised with cows around, because he doesn't bat an eyelid at these big girls!

Beautiful.

Dust bath #2 in the dry grass. Mum sprayed part of the paddock to grow pumpkins, corn and other things.

Awwwwwwww

He really enjoyed it!

Flax always look nice, and its doing great on the steam edge.

Last year, mum planted a packet of wild seed, and it didn't die down over winter, and this spring, the flowers are back!

Yea, he was still rolling in the grass.

The grass is growing fast right now!

Mums trenches inn the paddock...

I think these are on the Peach tree.

This little guy was watching us :)

 The paddock is really green!

The feijoa plants. One day they will be a hedge. They had a bit of a hard start to life, because apparently sheep like feijoas! Theres about 7 of them!

Hunter found something interesting in the paddock...

We finally made it to the citrus garden, and these two where up in a tree nearby.

The citrus garden is rocky, to encourage heat - theres two baby grape vines as well.

Those rocks were so warm! Time for dust bath #3

I love taking pictures of these ones, they are so pretty!

I love spring! I leave you with a spring poem I found, and love!

Spring

The air is cool, the breeze is light.
The clouds in the sky are fluffy and white.

The flowers open to show their bright faces,
as the garden snail alongside paces.

The trees unfold their bright green leaves.
The spider a silken web she weaves.

The birds sing their notes high and clear.
Cheer up! Cheer up! Spring is here!
