31 (or 28?) Day Blog Challenge: Day 8

Piercings and tattoos

I'm way to scared to let people punch holes right through me, but I would like a tattoo of a cross on my wrist. If I carry through with the idea, my parents might pay for it for my birthday. This is an  interesting one, because I know many Christians don't think tattoos are okay.

I wouldn't be happy to discuss differing points of view on this :)

  1. I just find it a bit funny that you're scared to pierce yourself, but not to get a tattoo. I would be more much nervous about getting a tattoo. But that's just me.

  2. See, we're just opposites—I didn't mind getting my ears pierced at all but the idea of a tattoo makes me a little squeamish. XD Seriously, I think tattoos are usually really cool (unless they're stupid, you know, getting FTW tattooed on your forehead, something dumb like that) just on other people. XD If I got a tattoo, though, I'd probably want a white one on my shoulder blade, a circle with maybe a letter in it, or something.

    1. Haha squeamish is a good word to describe how I feel about piercings. That sounds cool! Why white?

    2. Because they look like scars.

That sounds really bad. I want to be a horribly scarred individual. But really, the white tattoo scar looking things look cool. XD

  3. Same as Brooke :) But I guess we're all wired differently. That's cool though... I wouldn't get a real tattoo, but I do think it's very nice to have something like that as a constant reminder of something, whether it's a word or phrase, or a icon, like the cross. :)
