Four is Better Than None

I've been fiddling around with PicMonkey and the titles of my novels. I've tried changing Playing with Fire to King of Fire and Ashes to Princess of Choice. What do y'all think?

  2. I must say it: That bottom right cover- smashing!

Also, while the title playing with fire seems a little overdone (I'm sorry), King of Fire sounds much more interesting and dramatic.

I agree with you - Playing With Fire was the first thing that entered my mind, but I always knew I was going to change it to something better :)

  3. I like the first one for King of Fire and the second one for Princess of Choice. :)

I find the second title a bit amusing because I have a story idea that's sitting around for the moment, but when I had been working on it I called it "I Don't Want to be a Princess." ;)

Haha thats great xD I usually have a working title for my drafts, often they are far from original.

  4. Those are really pretty covers :) I like the second one for Princess of Choice. Those are really good title names actually. When I start writing, I usually just put a really obvious name for the title and then change it to something more dramatic once I'm done writing. Kind of as an incentive. Like for the book I'm working on right now, I'm just calling it The Alyssa Story, frankly because it's about a girl named Alyssa. :)

I do the same- often I just call them after the first part of the idea that popped into my head.
