The Tag of Happiness

Isn't this tag just the cutest thing ever? Okay, maybe not as cute as Sheldon. But still cute. Thank for tagging me Heather! You should go check out her blog, Sometimes I'm a Story, because she is basically amazing.

What makes you happy? I think we often forget the smallest things that make us happy.
Opal is back in her childhood now, because that's where almost everything happy originates. Excuse her while she goes off to dig herself into a deep hole of nostalgia.

  1. I love this post!! It's so awesome. This is one of the best tags that I've seen:)
    Grace Anne //

    1. Thank you! I agree, this was one of the best tags I've ever got to do :)

no but seriously, this looks like tons of fun :)

  3. This tag really is lovely! I didn't adore the book Prince Caspian, but the movie made me like it significantly more. I'm not certain on the Caspian/Susan ship, but it definitely casts more implications on the final's book omission of her. Spaghetti bolognese is the best, and clearly horses and your cat are obligatory appearances. :P

    1. The book didn't really grab me either. And the Susan Prince Caspian thing was never right.

  4. This is a really cool tag!

  5. Yay! This is such a fun tag. I too love The Ranger's Apprentice Series (because it is awesomeness, as you full well know) and while I didn't have such an easy time with Gatsby the first time I read it, the second time around studying it in Lit made it quite enjoyable. :) BBQ is not a go-to food but I have had some awesomeness before, and it is amazing. Also, I have now learned of anagapesis and it is fascinating! Thanks for sharing these happy things, Opal, and participating in the tag!

    1. SAME. The first time I read The Great Gatsby I hated it, then I read it again and I was like 'what is wrong with me!?' Now I re-read it every few months <3
Thank you for tagging me :))

  6. This post makes me happy... Totally doing it!!!! Thanks, Opal! :)

    1. I'm glad it made you happy! Can't wait to read it :)

  7. Replies
    1. Glad to spread a bit of happiness :)

  8. I love Switchfoot so much. Enough to Let Me Go is definitely a song of theirs that's a favorite of mine, along with Hello Hurricane and Needle and Haystack Life. I also loved both To Kill a Mockingbird and Go Set a Watchman. Part of me was prepared to be disappointed by GSAW, but instead I was thoroughly astounded.

    1. Yuuuuuuusssssssss.
Same here! The first part I was going 'oh no, I don't like this', but then it just improved and I was like YAY THESE BOOKS ARE THE BEST.

  9. Oooh, thank you so much for tagging me! :) I'll do this in a few weeks.

The scents of smoke and frying onions and cut grass make me happy too. Also, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Great Gatsby. Ack, there are so many things, and I'm looking forward to listing them all.

Also, I really like the word for lost affection. *saves in file of cool words*

    1. Can't wait to read your post!
      Yes :))

  10. Ahhhh this is one of my favorite tags I've seen in a while!! You're a doll for tagging me, can't wait to do it!

  11. Aw, you always tag me Opal. Thanks ^^ I literally count on you to put me in the circulation for tags haha. I'll definitely be doing this one soon.

    O | Life as a Young Lady

    1. Haha that's because your awesome :) Can't wait to see your post :)

  12. What a great post! I love how your list of words ranges from "hey" to "anagapesis." And the smell of horses is pretty much the best scent in the world. Thanks so much for tagging me!

    1. Thanks! You're welcome :)
The smell of horse is one of the best scents :)

    2. Just wanted to let you know that I finally did this tag. :)

  13. This is so cool!! Thanks for the tag!!

  14. LITTLE WOMEN!!! That is my favourite movie of all time. The story and the sisterhood is so sweet; I always end up balling my eyes out when I watch it.

This is a really fun tag:)

    1. It's the only movie that has bought me close to tears :) It is a wonderful story!
      It is :)

  15. Cats are the best, aren't they? I love having a cat, she's such a sweetheart!

    This was a fun tag!
